Roundabout Theatre Company Honors Late Artistic Director Todd Haimes
Jan 31, 2024
Roundabout Theatre Company, one of our newest clients, has renamed its flagship Broadway venue – a 104-year-old building that began as the Selwyn and most recently went by the American Airlines Theatre – to honor its late artistic director Todd Haimes, who made an enormous contribution to Roundabout and the theatre profession at large.
As the leader of Roundabout Theatre Company for nearly 40 years, Todd Haimes elevated the company from a small 150-seat basement theatre to one of New York City’s leading venues and the largest not-for-profit theatre in America. The company’s five Broadway and off-Broadway venues offer a rich repertory of both classic and world premiere plays, an expansive education program defined by a Theatrical Workforce Development Program; and extensive opportunities, support, and resources for artists at every step in their career.
We are proud to work with this amazing organization and to recognize Todd Haimes’ legacy.
