In celebration of the release of OCCUPATION, Allied Works responds to the site of the Ace Hotel New York’s gallery with an installation titled ‘Forest from the Trees’. The piece is intended to be a spatial sketch exploring point of view, reference and memory. An attempt to dis and re orient the experience of a specific room - obliterating boundaries with a new with a displaced and idealized archetype from the Pacific Northwest.

On April 13th, Allied Works hosted a book launch party at the Ace Hotel’s Liberty Hall. The event was co-sponsored by W Magazine and Kanon Vodka and attended by a myriad group of colleagues, collaborators, friends, family and New York City’s leaders.

On April 19th, as part of the Ace Hotel’s ExPac series, Brad Cloepfil will give an informal talk on Allied Works’ current projects and the motivation for the work.
