Clyfford Still Museum - Awards and Acclaim
View projectDec 1, 2012
In its first year of operation, the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver has received widespread critical acclaim in the art and architectural press, as writers for major dailies in Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco and New York City.
In November, the museum was the recipient of two major awards by the Portland Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The Honor Award is the Institute’s highest accolade, and in 2012 was given to only two projects: the Clyfford Still Museum was one of these recipients. The award makes the CSM eligible for further consideration at the regional and national levels of the AIA. The Still Museum also won the annual Craftsmanship Award on the same night.
