New Residences Nearing Completion

In Portland and New York City, Allied Works is preparing two major new residences for occupancy.
The 6,500 sf Portland Heights Residence is sited on a projecting ridge that offers 180º views of the Cascade Range, the Willamette River, and the city below. The house hinges and unfolds, a series of pavilions that are united by board-formed concrete fireplaces and quiet courtyards.
Located in an historic building in the heart of Tribeca, the Hudson Street Loft is a 13,000 sf residence. The loft comprises the top three levels of the building in addition to a new roof garden and penthouse. The loft is perforated by numerous double-height spaces and courtyards, and a custom cast-aluminum surface visually and materially weaves together the diverse living spaces of the residence.
