View projectJan 20, 2022
After breaking ground last Autumn, construction continues on schedule for the 70,000sf Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State University. Located next to the University Arboretum, the site excavation revealed some of the iconic rock formations of the region, which were an early inspiration for the design. Elsewhere in Pennsylvania, stone is being cut and prepared for the cladding that will wrap the linked pavilions and key common spaces within.
Construction is slated for completion in June of 2023, with a formal opening later that year. For a view of the Arboretum in real time, a link to a webcam can be found here: link
