Portland Art Museum Installation

Jun 7, 2008

Allied Works is currently designing an installation that will occupy the entire two-story space of the Arlene Schnitzer Interior Sculpture Court at the Portland Art Museum. Inspired by the extreme conditions of the Columbia Gorge, the installation will combine forces of light, air and sound to explore the ideas of displaced experience: above and below, light and dark, compression and expansion – an experience that originates in the Museum yet resonates with distant landscapes and memories.
