Allied Works’ recent cultural and residential projects have met with considerable acclaim, both from within the architectural community and the design press.
The Dutchess County Residence Guest House received a 2009 Honor Award from the New York Chapter of the AIA. The residence was also selected for the 2009 Record Houses edition of Architectural Record, and may be seen in the April 2009 issue and on the magazine’s website.
The Museum of Arts and Design received a 2009 Merit Award from the New York Chapter of the AIA. MAD also was selected as the ‘Museum Opening of the Year’ by Apollo Magazine, a UK-based publication that covers arts and cultural topics internationally.
The University of Michigan Museum of Art, completed earlier this year, just received a 2009 Honor Award for Built Projects from the Detroit Chapter of the AIA. The museum had previously received design awards in 2005 from the New York and Portland Chapters.
