Born in Beirut and raised in New Orleans, Gabriel Smith has worked on projects in The US, UK, Europe and South America. A Principal at Allied Works in New York City, Gabriel leads complex projects for cultural, education, commercial and government clients.

His works have earned 20 American Institute of Architects Design Awards and he was elected to the AIA College of Fellows for his contributions as a designer. He holds degrees in architecture from Harvard and Tulane and is a LEED AP with experience on net zero and LEED Platinum projects. He has served as adjunct professor, visiting critic or lecturer at Columbia, Parsons, Harvard, Syracuse, and Cornell.
